How the mechanism works

Attribution starts by stating what each source can and cannot establish. Cross-system reconciliation then evaluates eligible relationships across a consistent time basis.

In summary: billing, telemetry, identity, and code each contribute a partial fact. Reconciliation at a shared time basis can produce a supported path, ambiguity, unknown, or not-identifiable outcome.

Evidence and implementation boundary

What the current claim supports

Venturi does not assume that all pathways are captured or all records are attributable. Capture feasibility, source health, attribution coverage, and unknown states remain visible.

FinOps contributes cost evidence. Observability contributes execution evidence. Gateways contribute request evidence. Identity and HCM systems contribute organizational context. Venturi correlates across those boundaries rather than replacing the source systems.
